# Sight Singing Pro vs Symphonium

The clearest difference is rating: Sight Singing Pro at 4.8 against Symphonium's 3.4. Sight Singing Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (185 vs 5). Symphonium's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sight Singing Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Symphonium sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sight Singing Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sight Singing Pro has 185 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Sight Singing Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Symphonium's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sight Singing Pro ships an update every 5 days, Symphonium every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
