# Murge World vs Friends

The clearest difference is rating: Friends at 5.0 against Murge World's 4.0. Friends also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Murge World's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Murge World sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Friends sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Friends holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Murge World has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Murge World's written reviews are positive against 75% of Friends's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Murge World ships an update monthly, Friends fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
