# Simple D vs D

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple D at every 3 weeks against D's every 5 weeks. Simple D also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple D ships an update every 3 weeks, D every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
