# Flexblocks vs Task Kitchen

The clearest difference is ads: Task Kitchen at none against Flexblocks's shown. Task Kitchen also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flexblocks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Task Kitchen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flexblocks ships an update every 10 days, Task Kitchen every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
