# Cove vs Moving Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Cove at 4.8 against Moving Notes's 4.0. Cove also leads on ratings volume (261 vs 1). Moving Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cove holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cove has 261 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
