# Onenote vs Daily Notes

Onenote and Daily Notes both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Daily Notes's written reviews are positive against 17% of Onenote's. Onenote's advantage is ratings volume (126 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onenote sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Daily Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Onenote against 4.3 for Daily Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onenote has 126 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of Onenote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daily Notes's.

Onenote ships an update every 2 weeks, Daily Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
