# Mathseeds vs Musical Multiplication

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Musical Multiplication at 75% against Mathseeds's 44%. Musical Multiplication also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Mathseeds's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mathseeds sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Musical Multiplication sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mathseeds holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 253 and 161 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Mathseeds's written reviews are positive against 75% of Musical Multiplication's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mathseeds ships an update every 3 months, Musical Multiplication every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
