# Unloop vs Matexo

The clearest difference is ads: Unloop at none against Matexo's shown. Unloop also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Matexo's advantage is ratings volume (354 vs 50). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unloop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Matexo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Unloop against 4.9 for Matexo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matexo has 354 ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Unloop's written reviews are positive against 93% of Matexo's.

Unloop ships an update every 2 weeks, Matexo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
