# Privacy Protector Pro vs Wifi Password

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wifi Password at 419 against Privacy Protector Pro's 4. Privacy Protector Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Privacy Protector Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.49 per 7 days and Wifi Password sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Privacy Protector Pro against 4.1 for Wifi Password. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wifi Password has 419 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Privacy Protector Pro ships an update fortnightly, Wifi Password every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
