# Digital Planner vs Default Parent

The clearest difference is ads: Default Parent at none against Digital Planner's shown. Default Parent also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Default Parent sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
