# Ricalko vs ArtSync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ArtSync at 57% against Ricalko's 11%. ArtSync also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Ricalko's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (83 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ricalko sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ArtSync sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ricalko holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ricalko has 83 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Ricalko's written reviews are positive against 57% of ArtSync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ricalko ships an update every 5 months, ArtSync every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
