# Ricalko vs Palit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Palit at 73% against Ricalko's 11%. Palit also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 months). Ricalko's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (83 vs 12). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ricalko sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Palit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ricalko holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ricalko has 83 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Ricalko's written reviews are positive against 73% of Palit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ricalko ships an update every 5 months, Palit every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
