# Drop the Number vs Match Master

The clearest difference is rating: Drop the Number at 4.6 against Match Master's 4.0. Drop the Number also leads on ratings volume (103 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop the Number sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Match Master sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop the Number holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drop the Number has 103 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Drop the Number ships an update every 2 weeks, Match Master every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
