# Malloc Mobile Security & VPN vs VPN Master

The clearest difference is rating: Malloc Mobile Security & VPN at 5.0 against VPN Master's 3.2. Malloc Mobile Security & VPN also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). VPN Master's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Malloc Mobile Security & VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and VPN Master sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Malloc Mobile Security & VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Master has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Malloc Mobile Security & VPN ships an update fortnightly, VPN Master every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
