# Malloc Mobile Security & VPN vs Ethical Secure VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ethical Secure VPN at 96% against Malloc Mobile Security & VPN's 44%. Ethical Secure VPN also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). Malloc Mobile Security & VPN's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 2.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Malloc Mobile Security & VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Ethical Secure VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Malloc Mobile Security & VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ethical Secure VPN has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Malloc Mobile Security & VPN's written reviews are positive against 96% of Ethical Secure VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Malloc Mobile Security & VPN ships an update fortnightly, Ethical Secure VPN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
