# SubManager vs Subwise

The clearest difference is monetization model: Subwise at free against SubManager's free with in-app purchases. Subwise also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). SubManager's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (65 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubManager sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Subwise sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subwise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubManager has 65 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 97% of SubManager's written reviews are positive against 100% of Subwise's.

SubManager ships an update every 8 days, Subwise monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
