# Timer vs MultiTimer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MultiTimer at 93% against Timer's 50%. MultiTimer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Timer's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MultiTimer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Timer's written reviews are positive against 93% of MultiTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timer ships an update fortnightly, MultiTimer every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
