# Timer vs HelloTimer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HelloTimer at 100% against Timer's 50%. HelloTimer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). Timer's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HelloTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HelloTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of HelloTimer's.

Timer ships an update fortnightly, HelloTimer daily. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
