# SEG.SMART vs TRUEFREE

The clearest difference is rating: SEG.SMART at 2.0 against TRUEFREE's 1.3. SEG.SMART also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). TRUEFREE's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SEG.SMART holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TRUEFREE has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SEG.SMART's written reviews are positive against 10% of TRUEFREE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SEG.SMART ships an update every 17 months, TRUEFREE every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
