# Take Notes vs Grafika

The clearest difference is rating: Take Notes at 4.6 against Grafika's 2.5. Take Notes also leads on ratings volume (72 vs 2) and review sentiment (83% vs 67%). Grafika's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Take Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Grafika sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Take Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Take Notes has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Take Notes's written reviews are positive against 67% of Grafika's.

Take Notes ships an update every 2 months, Grafika fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
