# PrepStar vs UC

The clearest difference is rating: UC at 4.9 against PrepStar's 3.5. UC also leads on ratings volume (435 vs 11). PrepStar's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UC has 435 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
