# iDreamers vs Text App

The clearest difference is rating: Text App at 4.6 against iDreamers's 3.5. Text App also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 11). iDreamers's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 30%) and in-app purchases (none vs 7). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text App sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. iDreamers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Text App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text App has 3.5K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of iDreamers's written reviews are positive against 30% of Text App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iDreamers ships an update every 3 weeks, Text App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
