# MCPEDL for Minecraft vs FileMaster Pro

The clearest difference is rating: FileMaster Pro at 3.8 against MCPEDL for Minecraft's 3.4. FileMaster Pro also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). MCPEDL for Minecraft's advantage is ratings volume (982 vs 100). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MCPEDL for Minecraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FileMaster Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FileMaster Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MCPEDL for Minecraft has 982 ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of MCPEDL for Minecraft's written reviews are positive against 38% of FileMaster Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MCPEDL for Minecraft ships an update monthly, FileMaster Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
