# WW2 Company Commander vs WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite

The clearest difference is rating: WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite at 4.1 against WW2 Company Commander's 2.7. WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). WW2 Company Commander's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WW2 Company Commander sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of WW2 Company Commander's written reviews are positive against 64% of WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WW2 Company Commander ships an update every 2 months, WW2 Battlefields Sim Lite every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
