# SClock vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Digital Clock at 4.6 against SClock's 4.3. Digital Clock also leads on ratings volume (384 vs 24) and review sentiment (64% vs 50%). SClock's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SClock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Digital Clock sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 384 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of SClock's written reviews are positive against 64% of Digital Clock's.

SClock ships an update fortnightly, Digital Clock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
