# SClock vs Tack Time

The clearest difference is ads: Tack Time at none against SClock's shown. Tack Time also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SClock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Tack Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SClock ships an update fortnightly, Tack Time every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
