# SClock vs Easy Read

The clearest difference is ads: Easy Read at none against SClock's shown. SClock's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SClock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Easy Read sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SClock ships an update fortnightly, Easy Read every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
