# Ebest Track vs ESET VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: ESET VPN at every 3 months against Ebest Track's every 19 months. ESET VPN also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ebest Track ships an update every 19 months, ESET VPN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
