# NotaryGadget vs TAAX

The clearest difference is update cadence: TAAX at monthly against NotaryGadget's every 7 months. TAAX also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). NotaryGadget's advantage is ratings volume (744 vs 8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for NotaryGadget against 4.9 for TAAX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NotaryGadget has 744 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
