# Ballplayer vs Cards Time

The clearest difference is rating: Cards Time at 5.0 against Ballplayer's 4.0. Ballplayer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cards Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ballplayer has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ballplayer ships an update weekly, Cards Time every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
