# BigPaper vs vJournal

The clearest difference is rating: vJournal at 5.0 against BigPaper's 4.0. vJournal also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). BigPaper's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1) and device support. On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BigPaper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. vJournal asks for nothing beyond the download.

vJournal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BigPaper has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
