# CompTIA Prep 2026 vs Project+ Exam Prep 2026

The clearest difference is rating: Project+ Exam Prep 2026 at 5.0 against CompTIA Prep 2026's 4.4. CompTIA Prep 2026's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CompTIA Prep 2026 sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Project+ Exam Prep 2026 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
