# Shift vs When It Clicks

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: When It Clicks at none against Shift's 1. When It Clicks also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. When It Clicks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shift ships an update every 3 weeks, When It Clicks every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
