# Glyn vs Minesweeper Twist

The clearest difference is price: Minesweeper Twist at Free against Glyn's $1.99. Minesweeper Twist also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Glyn's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (92 vs 5). On update cadence, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Minesweeper Twist is free to download; Glyn costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minesweeper Twist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glyn has 92 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Glyn's written reviews are positive against 75% of Minesweeper Twist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Glyn ships an update every 8 days, Minesweeper Twist weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
