# Cats Doing Human Things vs Scavenger Hunt

The clearest difference is rating: Cats Doing Human Things at 4.6 against Scavenger Hunt's 3.6. Cats Doing Human Things also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 59) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Scavenger Hunt's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cats Doing Human Things sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Scavenger Hunt sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cats Doing Human Things holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cats Doing Human Things has 1.4K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Cats Doing Human Things's written reviews are positive against 71% of Scavenger Hunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
