# Serial Box vs VOID

The clearest difference is update cadence: Serial Box at monthly against VOID's every 6 months. Serial Box also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serial Box sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VOID sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Serial Box ships an update monthly, VOID every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
