# Serial Box vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is update cadence: Temp Mail at fortnightly against Serial Box's monthly. Serial Box's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serial Box sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Temp Mail sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Serial Box ships an update monthly, Temp Mail fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
