# ESP IP Pro vs EV

The clearest difference is update cadence: EV at every 3 weeks against ESP IP Pro's every 20 months. ESP IP Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ESP IP Pro ships an update every 20 months, EV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
