# Lightcraft Jetset vs prefx

The clearest difference is rating: prefx at 5.0 against Lightcraft Jetset's 4.3. prefx also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Lightcraft Jetset's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightcraft Jetset sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month and prefx sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

prefx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightcraft Jetset has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lightcraft Jetset ships an update every 2 months, prefx every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
