# HerePrint vs TCTEC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TCTEC at 100% against HerePrint's 35%. TCTEC also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). HerePrint's advantage is ratings volume (102 vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HerePrint sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and TCTEC sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TCTEC holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HerePrint has 102 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of HerePrint's written reviews are positive against 100% of TCTEC's.

HerePrint ships an update every 5 weeks, TCTEC every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
