# WT Web vs Chat Backup Deleted Messages

The clearest difference is rating: WT Web at 4.6 against Chat Backup Deleted Messages's 3.7. WT Web also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). Chat Backup Deleted Messages's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WT Web sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Chat Backup Deleted Messages sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WT Web holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 191 and 137 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of WT Web's written reviews are positive against 40% of Chat Backup Deleted Messages's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WT Web ships an update every 2 months, Chat Backup Deleted Messages every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
