# ReadON DAO vs Firefly

The clearest difference is rating: ReadON DAO at 4.8 against Firefly's 4.3. ReadON DAO also leads on ratings volume (203 vs 26) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReadON DAO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReadON DAO has 203 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of ReadON DAO's written reviews are positive against 80% of Firefly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReadON DAO ships an update every 5 days, Firefly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
