# SMSProxy vs PeekAI

The clearest difference is rating: PeekAI at 5.0 against SMSProxy's 3.7. SMSProxy's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMSProxy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and PeekAI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PeekAI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMSProxy has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SMSProxy ships an update monthly, PeekAI every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
