# PhorestGuest vs Premiere 2026

The clearest difference is rating: PhorestGuest at 4.0 against Premiere 2026's 2.8. Premiere 2026's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PhorestGuest holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Premiere 2026 has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PhorestGuest ships an update every 12 months, Premiere 2026 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
