# Mosaic vs Catchup

The clearest difference is update cadence: Catchup at fortnightly against Mosaic's every 5 weeks. Mosaic's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mosaic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and Catchup sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mosaic ships an update every 5 weeks, Catchup fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
