# 奇门遁甲 vs 辰时八字排盘

The clearest difference is monetization model: 奇门遁甲 at freemium against 辰时八字排盘's subscription. 奇门遁甲 also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). 辰时八字排盘's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 奇门遁甲 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 辰时八字排盘 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

辰时八字排盘 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 辰时八字排盘 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of 奇门遁甲's written reviews are positive against 92% of 辰时八字排盘's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

奇门遁甲 ships an update every 6 weeks, 辰时八字排盘 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
