# HopToDesk vs Host_Desk

The clearest difference is rating: Host_Desk at 5.0 against HopToDesk's 4.3. Host_Desk also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). HopToDesk's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Host_Desk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HopToDesk has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HopToDesk ships an update every 5 months, Host_Desk every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
