# SmartReading vs Logopedio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Logopedio at every 8 days against SmartReading's monthly. SmartReading's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartReading sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Logopedio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartReading ships an update monthly, Logopedio every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
