# Listening vs LakLaka

The clearest difference is rating: LakLaka at 5.0 against Listening's 4.5. LakLaka also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). Listening's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Listening sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and LakLaka sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LakLaka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Listening has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Listening ships an update every 8 days, LakLaka every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
