# Standard Dictionary vs Beibei

The clearest difference is update cadence: Beibei at every 6 days against Standard Dictionary's every 2 months. Standard Dictionary's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standard Dictionary sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Beibei sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Standard Dictionary ships an update every 2 months, Beibei every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
